Stygian ringlet - Erebia styx

Altitude: 600-2200m
The projection just above my finger separates this species from the similar Erebia stirius. This specimen died after being rescued from a web by my children. The more lively specimen were from the head of the Soce river near Trenta in Slovenia. It is subspecies trentae.
